One of the biggest takeaways for me was the importance of creating time, time to prepare, think clearly, and operate without constantly questioning whether you’re across everything. That only really becomes possible when you surround yourself with the right people who free you up from tasks others can own.The session reinforced something important: to keep growing, I need to create space. That means stepping further away from production, building out stronger middle management internally, and bringing in younger talent we can develop into key roles over time.

“Claire’s keynote was incredibly well received at our event. Her insights on precision thinking and energy performance really resonated with the group, and the session was engaging and practical. The feedback from attendees has been very positive.”

I organised an International Women’s Day event for North Yorkshire Police officers and staff, centred on the theme of inspiring and empowering women. Claire exceeded every expectation and shared her personal story with honesty, warmth and authenticity, encouraging everyone present to have confidence in themselves and commit to becoming the best version of who they can be. She also shared excerpts from her book, The Winning Formula, which I had the privilege of reading. The book highlights the journeys of several truly inspirational sportswomen and the lessons that can be drawn from their experiences.

The Winning Formula Keynote
Claire Johnson delivered an engaging and inspiring session, drawing on her experience as a motorsports performance coach and her work with trailblazing women in the sporting industry. Her message about releasing the “alpha female,” owning your confidence, and breaking through personal barriers left a lasting impression. Claire’s personal stories of setting ambitious goals and achieving them added authenticity and impact. A truly motivating speaker.
