Direction VII is a one-to-one leadership development programme delivered over seven focused sessions across 12 weeks. It is built for professionals who have the experience and the competence but have reached a point where something needs to shift, whether that is how they see themselves as a leader, how they manage the pressure around them, or how they create the conditions to move forward.

The programme works across six core themes:

Identity & Purpose

For leaders who have built a career on competence but have lost sight of what is actually driving them. This theme is about reconnecting with the version of leadership that fits who you are now, not the one you fell into.

Confidence & Authority

For leaders who know their value intellectually but struggle to own it in the room. This theme focuses on closing the gap between what you are capable of and how you carry yourself when it counts.

Feeling Trapped

For leaders who feel stuck in a role, a relationship with work, or a version of themselves that no longer fits. This theme is about building the clarity and structure to create genuine options rather than staying in a cycle of frustration.

For leaders navigating a move, whether by choice or circumstance. This theme focuses on making the transition with confidence and intention rather than reacting under pressure.

Direction Continuation.

Direction Continuation is a monthly coaching retainer for leaders who have completed Direction VII and want to maintain momentum. It is built around one 90-minute call per month, designed to provide ongoing accountability, structured reflection and a space to work through whatever is live in your leadership.

The programme picks up where Direction VII leaves off, making sure the 90-day action plan does not sit in a drawer and that the shifts made during the programme become permanent, not temporary.

โ”€โ”€โ”€ DIRECTION CORPORATE

Direction Corporate.

Direction Corporate is a bespoke leadership development programme built for organisations who want to invest in their leaders with something more structured than a workshop and more tailored than an off-the-shelf course. It is delivered one-to-one or in groups, over 12 weeks, and is built on the same framework as Direction VII.

Each programme is designed around the organisation and the cohort. Whether it is a group of 8 to 12 high-potential leaders or individual senior executives, Direction Corporate is shaped to the specific leadership challenges the business is facing, from building confidence and authority to navigating change, influence and stakeholder complexity.

Claire Johnson created Direction VII, Direction Continuation and Direction Corporate to address the gap. she kept seeing in her work with leaders: capable, experienced professionals who had all the competence but could not see it from the inside. She leads all Leadership Development at Shrine London, working directly with leaders, teams and high performers on the thinking, discipline and composure required to operate with authority rather than reactivity.

Her background is unusual. She is the only female performance coach in motorsport history to hold an active racing licence. That experience, making precise decisions under extreme pressure, is the foundation of everything she brings to the leaders she works with. Claire is the author of three books on leadership and personal development, including The Winning Formula, and speaks internationally on leadership and performance under pressure.
