โ”€โ”€โ”€ ABOUT THE KEYNOTE

Enterprise value.
is the scorecard.

The obsession with revenue is understandable. It is visible. It is measurable. It is easy to report and easy to celebrate. But for the majority of owner-led businesses, it is precisely the wrong thing to optimise for, and the relentless pursuit of it is what prevents the business from becoming what it could be.

This talk draws directly from Glenn’s 35 years of building, fixing and exiting businesses. The pattern is consistent: businesses that scale with strength are the ones where the owner made a deliberate decision to stop chasing top line and start building enterprise. Businesses that stall, plateau or break under their own growth are the ones that never made that switch.

Glenn makes the case, with evidence, with directness and with no flattery, for a different way of measuring what a business is worth and where it is going. The audiences who respond most strongly are owners and senior leaders who already feel the friction between the number they celebrate and the business they actually want to build.

01

The Revenue Trap

Why top-line growth feels like progress while the business beneath it becomes structurally fragile. The gap between what the P&L shows and what the business is actually worth.

02

The Switch

The decision that separates owners who build something lasting from those who build something large. What it means to move from trading performance to enterprise value, and how to make that shift deliberately.

03

The Scorecard

A practical reframe of what to measure, what to protect and what to stop celebrating. EBITDA, margin discipline, structural value, the numbers that actually determine what a business becomes.

โ”€โ”€โ”€ WHAT AUDIENCES LEAVE WITH

A different way
of keeping score.

A reframed scorecard

Owners leave with a clear understanding of the difference between revenue performance and enterprise value, and which one their decisions are currently building.

The switch identified

The specific moment, and the specific decisions, that determine whether a business scales with strength or stalls under its own growth.

Practical next steps

Not theory. The concrete changes in measurement, priority and behaviour that move a business from trading performance toward structural value.
